Fort Wayne Technical Center Grand Opening!

Tsugami America is coming to Fort Wayne! Please join us for the grand opening of our new Fort Wayne Technical Center, Wednesday May 10th.

All attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Tsugami America’s Swiss CNC Engineers and local Tsugami specialists. Bring questions, ideas, and drawings of parts for consultation sessions and learn how our team can help conquer your manufacturing challenges. Representatives from our valued partners Edge Technologies, KES Machine, ESPRIT and more will also be on site.

We will have the following Tsugami models on the floor during the grand opening event:

  • Tsugami TMA8F: The Tsugami TMA8F MultiFunction Turning Center is the ultimate machining solution. The TMA8F is a 6-Axis Turn/Mill equipped with a 60 tool magazine and the ability to perform full 5-Axis simultaneous machining to machine complex parts complete in a compact, flexible machine tool.  You can take the most complex part and perform a full range of operations: CNC milling, drilling, tapping, compound angle work, turning, boring, and threading in a single set-up.
  • Tsugami S206-II: The Tsugami S206-II is an enhanced chucker-convertible 20mm, 6-axis Opposed Gang Tool CNC Lathe, suitable for variable volume production with a wide range of capabilities.  The S206-II’s modular tooling layout can feature up to 24 different live tools, delivering advanced capability and rapid changeover times. The S206-II features a Y-axis tool post which allows you to machine complex parts using the main and back spindle simultaneously. Experience the flexibility of 6-axis control and the precision and accuracy of Swiss turning at an affordable price.
  • Tsugami M08SY-II: The Tsugami M08SY-II Turning Center with Y-axis allows you to perform highly complex machining, such as turning, drilling, boring, cross-drilling and CNC milling. Ideal for a wide range of applications, the M08SY-II is built for high accuracy, high production machining. The Y-axis enables turret tool positioning above or below center. The robust 12-position turret mounted to the Y-axis allows users to mount driven tooling at any turret position for use on the main or subspindle. This tool zone flexibility coupled with the C-axis provides the capability and flexibility to machine virtually any feature and drop your part complete in one clamping.
  • Tsugami SS327-III-5AX: Cut complex parts complete in a single set-up. The hallmark of the Tsugami SS327-III-5AX CNC Lathe, in addition to Swiss style speed and accuracy, is its ability to cut contoured shapes using a servo-driven, modular B-axis. This feature greatly enhances the machine’s capability to produce high precision parts requiring sculpted geometries and bone screws at any helix angle.
